Brighten the Holidays for Homeless Youth!
Ended December 16, 2016
The holidays are tough for the homeless youth we serve, whether they're all of 24 years old or as young as 12. It's a time for family, maybe the time for family—but, instead of bringing simple joys, this season tears these kids apart. YouthCare strives to brighten their holiday by providing them with not only the basic supplies, but also with something they would really enjoy.
Each year, we work with various businesses and individuals to host drives and holiday giving campaigns for the youth we serve. We've gathered the needs and wishes from the youth and the housing programs, and we have found the need even greater than last year—from coats to backpacks to holiday wishes like new shoes and headphones.
