2015 Friends of the 46th Ward Schools 100th Day of School Re-Supply Drive

Ended March 07, 2015

Mid-February marks the 100th Day of School for our students in the 46th Ward schools. At this point in the school year, a few of the most-used supplies are depleted. Friends of the 46th Ward Schools, with the help of 46th Ward Alderman James Cappleman's office, seeks to restock these supplies to help our 46th Ward students succeed through the end of the school year.

Friends of the 46th Ward Schools supports the six Chicago Public Schools in the 46th Ward: Brennemann Elementary, Courtenay Elementary, Disney Magnet Elementary, Greeley Elementary, McCutcheon Elementary, and Uplift Community High School. The six schools have over 4,000 students. Five of the six schools have a low-income rate of 86% or more and three of the six schools have a low-income rate of 95% or more
