It’s that time of year again when we share the holiday spirit to put smiles on the faces of Oakland’s children in need. The Oaklanders Assistance Center, with help from our friends at the Oakland Fire Department, has organized one of the city’s largest toy distribution sites. Last year alone we were able to provide toys to over 8,000 children from low income families. That’s over 16,000 dolls, trucks, books, board games, sports equipment, and gift certificates.

This year, Roonga is hosting our online drive for age groups that we typically don't get enough items for. These toys will be fulfilled by local Oakland businesses including the Montclair Toy House and Give Something back. Please click "Donate" below to get started. NOTE that sales tax (9%) and a credit card processing fee (3%) will be added to the prices below.

To contribute offline - just drop a new, unwrapped toy in one of the many collection bins or drop it off at the Oaklanders Assistance Center, Room 123 in City Hall. A full list of dropoff locations can be found here. We graciously ask that you not donate toys of a violent nature (i.e. guns, daggers, etc.).
